Baden and New Hamburg to Merge in 2018!

A combined 'Wilmot' association will begin play as one entity in 2018!

Early results of the 2017 merger of the girls program show excellent results in regard to registration numbers and we anticipate the same with a combined boys program for 2018.

Often a merger of two centres is perceived as a weakness of one centre, but the reason for this merger is so the associations can survive long-term with combined numbers. We want to assure everyone that both centres are as strong as ever, in regard to both registrations and financially. This merger is happening because we believe together we will be stronger! We will be able to offer many additional programs at the rep and select level, and we can continue to have a strong focus on our local league programs, where kids can play with their friends while eventually reducing travel for those families. Together we are committed to growing fast pitch softball in our community and building a stronger program together.

Identity Announcement/Contest
In anticipation of the merger of both associations for the 2018 season, Baden Minor Softball and New Hamburg Softball Association are seeking a new identity. We would like to reach out to the public for input and ideas during this process. The merging association seeks original team name and logo submissions, and will consider all that are presented. Submissions can be forwarded to wilmotsoftballassociation@gmail.com and will be accepted until June 30, 2017.
